Tank update

Post by Meg and Tank on Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:10 am

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to say thanks for all your kind wishes. Tanks is doing well, I brought him home from hospital yesterday. He only had his elbow screwed (in two places) on Wednesday, doctor wants him back in a couple of months to screw him again, in the shoulder this time. There is a line there but i will retain my lady image and leave it there. Thanks again everyone. Hope to see u all soon (even if we have to drive the rides).

Just a quick update on our eldest statesman
Tank has finally been screwed proper
the doctors have operated on his wayward shoulder muscle and screw the fracture in his forearm
from all reports the operation was a complete success
join me in wishing him a speedy recovery
cant be riding his beloved Yamaha as I've heard that the v-star 1600cc have been recalled due to a fault in the gearbox? 4 gear is apparently kaput
Get well soom M8 we miss you those who've got his number give the bugger a ring i know he'd love it..
cheers

Dented Tank

Post by Meg and Tank on Fri May 30, 2008 6:10 am

Hi all
Just a quick note to let you know my sweet man Tank had a bit of a fall on Wednesday morning at work. (about 2 meters off the back of a truck). He has broken a bone in his arm and we are still waiting for some tests to be done on his shoulder to see what the damage is there. Not a happy chappy at the moment as he is in a fair amount of pain. I have my nurses outfit on and am taking care of him as best i can. Will let you all know how he gets on. (not that he will be getting on anything but the couch for the next few weeks at least). Thanks to all for his birthday messages, and for the calls and visits he received yesterday
Catcha ya's
