That report was paid for by the insurance industry?
so their looking for a way out of paying for the flash flooding, by calling it a dam release flood!
If you crash your car your insurer fixes the damage or pays for it to be fixed them go's after the people who caused the damage or accident so what they should do is pay up then sue the water board or state government who held on to the water because it was worth a reported half a billion dollars the $500,000,000-00. in the end of the day you ensure your home and stuff against destruction if it's destroyed they should pay up!!
If they underestimated the possible causes your stuff could be destroyed that's their problem just if if your under estimated the worth of you stuff insured it's yours problem.
RACQ increase my insured amount from $175k to $200 on house and $30k to $50k on contents for same as the Suncorp policy premiumn they never said anything about
dam realease,
Storm water run off
Tidal serge flooding
Inland tsunami
Flash flood [what government called it when they text people in Goodna on the 11th of January]
Sunny day flooding
The very worst nature can throw at us.
The most challenging weather events in our history.
Riverine flooding
Call it whatever you like still water damage?

Great story cheffie keep giving to the bastards!

is there any connect with the email you sent to his grandmother HRH ElizabethII and the visit to Queensland, of HRH William Wales next week? I was wondering why he changed his plans to visit Europe only a month before his wedding?
Cut n pasted from his webpage
Prince William will arrive in Australia on Saturday 19th March, where he will, over two days, visit a number of areas and towns affected by the recent cyclone and flooding in Queensland. On 21st March,

found this on RACQ official facebook page

Bry Guthridge
why is it RACQ tells people there insurance coverage is better than Suncorp......cause quite clearly it is not!!!!

o
RACQ (Official) It depends what you mean by "better" Bry. If you're flying from Brisbane to Sydney, would you rather fly Tiger for $38 or Qantas Business for $812? Which is better all depends on your needs and preferences.

great find on the internet. They just have not counted on the amount of backlash. It seems that this is gaining its own momentum - good on you for your energy in keeping track of whats going on

Insurance companies may be breaching the law if they fail to pay flood victims, a lawyers' group says.
